Verizon is a standard email service provider, like Gmail, Yahoo, etc. In the mid of 2015, Verizon stopped its email services because it required the AOL client to continue serving their services. Step-1: Firstly, you need to fill user information in the text field provided. For example, your “name” and “organization,” which will be displayed to your recipients in the FROM field. You can leave the “organization” field blank too. But if you wish to fill up the “organization” area, it will display in the parenthesis after the content you have entered in the “name” field.
Step-2: Now go to the “Delivery options” tab and enter the Verizon SMTP email address. Tick the “requires authentication” option and click setup. If you wish to enter the number of deliveries, connections, and delivery pauses, you can do the same.
Step-3: You need to check the “use SMTP authentication (outbound)” option and fill “AUTH LOGIN (default)” in the “type” tab. Now, enter your email address and password that has been linked to your Verizon email account. Click on “OK” and go back to “delivery options.”
Step-4: You will see the “advanced” button at the bottom of the delivery options tab. Change the SMTP port from the default value to 587. You can also add a custom domain.
Step-5: Click “OK.”

Setting up your Verizon account-

Step-2: Enter the “user-id,” or you can also enter a 10-digit mobile number and password. Now sign in to your account.

- If you are signing in for the first time or you have recently updated your password, you need to verify yourself using a Secure PIN that will be provided to you using mail, text, or call.
Step-3: You may have to answer a “security question” before finishing your registration setup successfully.

Step-2: Type your Verizon username and billing ZIP code and click the continue button.
Step-3: Now, you will have the option to reset your password using the code sent to your phone number. They can provide you the code by calling on your registered number.
Step-4: Answer the phone call and note the code. Type this code on the field provided.
